This year’s PSAT will be administered on Oct. 14th. For the first time, juniors and sophomores will be able to register online using e-Funds, but the deadline is Sept. 29.

According to Ms. Rickley, who coordinates the PSAT for AHS, “Students need to register using E-funds…[and] see Mrs. Lenzi in guidance for a PSAT Bulletin.” The cost is $29, and the bulletin will have test information and act as a study guide. This is the first year students are using e-Funds to register since it “eliminates the need for students to have to wait in line…to register,” said Rickley.

A link to the e-Funds page has been provided on AHS’ section of the APS1 website. Students will need their local ID number to register for an e-Funds account if they do not have one already. The ID number can be found in the “My Info” tab on Aspen.

The PSAT is used to help students practice and become more comfortable with taking the SAT. Students have two opportunities to take the PSAT, once in the fall of sophomore year and again junior year.

According to an email sent to parents by Ms. Costagliola, Principal Conrad’s administrative assistant, only certain browsers will work when signing up on e-Funds. They include the following browsers or newer versions: Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome version 44, Mozilla Firefox version 44, Opera version 30, Apple Safari version 9, and Microsoft Edge. If you have any questions, email Ms. Costagliola at dcostagliola@aps1.net.
