This year’s pep rally is on Wednesday Nov. 25th, last block, bringing the beginning of Thanksgiving break a welcome distraction from classes and a welcome distraction from classes. Typically, the Student Government organized pep rally features many performances and games that include the Asian-American club’s dance performances from years past to the annual football players’ skit. As usual, the pep rally will feature interactive games for the crowd such as Limbo. The rally is always a time for the student body to come together and get excited for the upcoming Thanksgiving day football game, usually played against Central Catholic.

However, unlike traditional past years, Andover will be playing North Andover this Thanksgiving rather than Central. It remains to be seen how this will affect school spirit at the game on Thursday. Student government and several clubs have been planning some of the same events as prior years for the rally like the Dance Club’s performance and the pie-eating contest, but are also considering some new games as well. Additionally, there will be students dressed up as clowns interacting with the crowd. Get ready for a day of spirit, music, and fun on Wednesday!
