As the snow days pile up, as February vacation nears, people may forget something great happening in Andover later this week…

More snow.

Well, maybe. But in all seriousness, let’s get to the real stuff. Drumroll…Mr. AHS 2015!

Get your eyeballs ready. Get your screams ready. Get ready to watch one heck of a show this year. Seven contestants and their sponsors take to the stage for what should be a great night.

The contestants this year are Abhimanyu Bishnu, Angelo Cerbone, Kevin Giribaldi, Jesse Girrell, Raymond Gorzela, Brendan Mokler, and Parth Valecha. It’s definitely going to be a competitive event. Even with all of the laughs, the competitiveness of Mr. AHS has typically not been washed away in years past.

When asked about the competition this year, Parth Valecha said, “It’s really really really impressive. We have a really deep pool.” Angelo Cerbone added, “We don’t know who’s going to win. It could be anyone.”

So why should you come to this show? Let’s see what some of the contestants had to say.

Valecha said, [the show is] “absolutely insane. You’re gonna see sides of us you usually don’t see. It’s fun stuff.” This may include things such as…such as….

You will see. The beans are not going to be spilled here.

Jesse Girrell said people should come for a “whole-hearted, wonderful evening of spectacular people, and a bellyful of laughs.” Cerbone added, “it’s going to be downright hilarious.”

Laughter is a common theme when talking about Mr. AHS. These seven boys and their sponsors seem ready to go. They seem ready to do their best. They seem ready to have a chance at being crowned “Mr. AHS 2015”.

But the night shouldn’t be remembered as one individual and their sponsor winning. It should be remembered as a fun event filled with loads of talent, laughs, and competition. Raymond Gorzela said, “I’m just looking forward to having fun. Whatever the outcome is, it’s gonna be fun either way.”

Well said, Raymond.

Thursday night, 7PM, at the Collins Center. It’s going to be a night to remember.
