Last year when NEASC visited Andover High School, one of its more decisive criticisms was that Andover High School lacks personalization. NEASC thought that there wasn’t enough communication and support between the faculty, the students, and the administration. In response, a number of initiatives are being planned to change this situation.

One such initiative is a student smartphone and tablet application to be released in the near future. The app features a staff directory through which students can directly email teachers and access the Andover High School official school calendar, the lunch menu for the upcoming week, twitter feeds, Aspen X2, and much more. It will be fully functional on Apple, Google, Android, and Amazon devices, and will be free of charge.

Credit for the development of the app goes to the AHS Student Government with a special thanks to Elizabeth Bernardin and Rhea Singh.
