School clubs: a place where you can meet people who share your interests. A place where you are pushed out of your comfort zones and forced to take action. A place where you can be passionate about what you believe in.

Andover High School is up to its roof with clubs, and there are more being created everyday. There is Astronomy club, Dance club, Math club, Robotics club, TV club, and so many more! There is a club for each and every student at AHS.

But what if you can’t find one that’s right for you? Well, you might just have to make one! It’s really simple. First, come up with an idea for your club and talk to vice principal Ms. Jordan. She oversees the making of clubs and will be able to approve your club. Then, find a teacher to supervise your club. Don’t forget to advertise your club! You will want to get the word out! Then, find a place and time and voilà! You have your club. The best part is that you can start a club whenever you want, whether it’s the beginning or the end of the year.

School clubs are the best places to grow and develop. For freshman it’s the perfect way to meet some new people, and for anyone else it’s still a great place to meet new people. Everyone is always welcome to any club at Andover High. For many students it’s where they’ve made some great friendships. And let’s not forget: clubs look great on college applications!
