A letter to the Class of 2012:

For 12 years we have asked students to obey school rules, to get good grades, to go to college, to be respectful, generous, focused, and hardworking. I have seen students come to school when they have pulled all-nighters, have been in the grips of emotional turmoil, and have had the flu, concussions, broken legs,  ACLs, and bronchitis. I believe the senior class deserves to put on pretty dresses and tuxes and dance the night away. I have volunteered to chaperone the prom and senior activities. I am very proud of the senior class.
