You will watch with intense emotions as you feel the power of Edward and Bella’s love for each other grow in Bill Condon’s romance Breaking Dawn: Part I. If you are a Twilight fanatic, this movie will certainly take your breath away.
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Launter shine in this movie as Bella, Edward, and Jacob. The movie opens up as Bella prepares to marry the love of her life, Edward, in a beautiful wedding. You can see her determination to move forward and commit herself to Edward. Stewart’s performance is magnificent, as she portrays her character’s dilemma in sacrificing her human life to become a vampire forever. The honeymoon takes place on a private island and Bella becomes pregnant. The most gruesome part of the movie was the delivery of her baby. Beware of this part if you do not have a strong stomach.
This movie has more of a romantic overtone than the previous movies. Unlike the previous installments of the series, the action part is less prominent. However, the prolonged feud between the werewolves and the vampires heats up immediately as the vampires try to protect Bella and her baby from being hurt by the werewolves. Pattinson’s shining moment is when his character is desperately trying to save Bella after her heart stops beating. Launter as Jacob showed a wider range of emotions than in previous movies.
The director, Bill Condon, had a sharp eye and an amazing vision for the settings of the wedding and the honeymoon. Like his predecessors, Condon gave the audience spectacular imagery throughout the movie.
This movie is the most romantic one out of the series thus far. You can see the drama of the love triangle play out in each scene. You will be intrigued as you wonder how the family will save Bella from death and the last scene provides an important clue to the next part of the series.
